Unique Family Medicine with Obstetrics Opportunity at Growing Texas Institution
Req. 27786 Job Detail: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso and Tenet Healthcare collaborated in developing a new set of clinical and eduucational programs, designed to serve undergraduate medical education, and resident physicians. THis includes a 6-6-6 Family Medicine residency program, July 2022.
The successful candidate in this position will be employed by TTUHSC El Paso at an academic rank commensurate with qualifications. The candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care, provide teaching experiences for medical students from the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine, as well as develop and deliver curriculum within the Family Medicine residency program. The candidate will participate in committees, scholarly activities within the Department, Medical School and University.
The position requires a M.D/D.O degree, licensed in Texas, or eligible for licensure in the State of Texas, completion of an ACGME approved residency in Family Medicine and board eligibility / certification, and experience/training in Obstetrics through a family medicine or other applicable residency program or fellowship program.
