Summary:

Skagit Regional Health is seeking a per diem OB Hospitalist to support our new OB Hospitalist program at Skagit Valley Hospital. Highlights:

  • Become an integral part of our newly formed team of six (6) OB Hospitalists, providing 24/7 coverage to our Family Birth Center. Our center boasts 21 LDRP rooms and 2 ORs with dedicated Anesthesia support and onsite Pediatric Hospitalists for our Level II Special Care Nursery.
  • In this position, you will be responsible for providing L&D triage, ED consultation (with GYN back up always available) and provide backup to our employed midwife group, FM/OB providers, and other community delivering providers.
  • This role offers a unique chance to mentor and work alongside our SRH Family Medicine Residents and outside Medical Students, contributing to their educational journey while enhancing your leadership skills.
  • Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an ACGME accredited residency program.
  • Board Certification in OB/GYN is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license by time of start.
  • Current AHA NRP certification and Electronic Fetal Monitoring certificate required by time of start.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Shift rate: $3885.90 per 24 hour shift

Our new, state of the art surgery center opened in December 2023, which has offered additional clinic space, outpatient ORs and additional endoscopy suites.
