Practice Opportunity Highlights
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 400+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for a Family Practitioner (MD/DO) to join a robust clinic-based practice and work full-time at its Emerald clinic. Saint Alphonsus Medical Group – Emerald is dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of family practice patients and is conveniently located in close proximity to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. The clinic will be moving to a brand new, state-of-the-art 13,000 square foot facility currently under construction even closer to the hospital, with opening estimated in December 2017. Other services at this practice location include occupational medicine and urgent care.
The selected physician will practice full-spectrum family medicine with the option to practice perinatal care and will have the opportunity to perform numerous procedures. However, endoscopic procedures are not part of the scope of practice for this position as these services are delivered by a Saint Alphonsus Health Alliance (SAHA) partner, Boise Digestive Health. There is onsite x-ray and laboratory.
The ideal candidate will commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care while demonstrating and modeling our organization’s core values of reverence, a commitment to those who are poor, justice, stewardship and integrity. As a member of the medical group, you will also need to obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System’s family medicine program across all communities we serve. The opportunity also requires the granting of privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC).To learn more about Saint Alphonsus, please visit www.saintalphonsus.org.
