  As a VA Physician your opportunities are endless! This opportunity allows you to care for Veterans in a Well Women’s Clinic setting providing acute and chronic illness, preventive services, mental health service and gender-specific primary care to include screening for breast and cervical cancer and referral for abnormal findings to appropriate specialty services. Work schedule: M-F, 8-4:30 pm. With NO call or weekends.

  • U.S. citizenship
  • Full and unrestricted M.D. / D.O. license from any state, DC or Puerto Rico
  • BC Internal or Family Medicine with a current skill set in women’s health.
  • Maintains current ACLS and BLS Certification.

    Federal Retirement Plan:

    VA employees are covered by the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). FERS is a three-tiered retirement plan composed of 1) Social Security benefits; 2) FERS basic benefits (pension); and 3)Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) which is a 401K-type plan

    The Federal Government also provides an automatic basic contribution (1% of salary) and up to 4% of salary in matching contributions, depending on the amount of the employee contribution

    For retired military personnel, these benefits are in addition to full monthly retirement pay or pension

    In addition to FERS, VA provides health care insurance coverage for retired personnel

    Disability Retirement

    Employees are vested in a federal pension after only 5 years’ service
