McLaren Flint has an excellent opportunity for a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician to join an expanding private practice in Flint, Michigan. Chest and Sleep Consultants, PLC is well-respected and growing in the community; providing pulmonary, critical care and sleep medicine services. The selected candidate will enjoy an established patient base while providing single hospital coverage. 

Additional highlights include:

  • 50/50 mix of inpatient and outpatient care
  • 46-bed critical care coverage with high acuity cases
  • Opportunity to teach medical students and residents, as well as receive faculty appointment to MSU College of Human Medicine
  • 24/7 resident support allows for the added benefit of a 1:5 at-home call

Facility Description:

McLaren Flint is a tertiary teaching facility with 416 beds located in Flint, Michigan. McLaren Flint is affiliated with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in its medical and surgical residency programs, including family practice, internal medicine, general surgery, orthopedic surgery and radiology. McLaren Flint also maintains hematology/oncology and vascular surgery fellowship programs in partnership with Michigan State University and a surgical oncology fellowship. Certified as a Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Cardiac Center of Excellence, this facility is also designated as a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, a Primary Stroke Center of Excellence, and a Blue Cross Blue Shield Center of Distinction for Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery and Spine Surgery.
