McLaren Northern Michigan is recruiting a full-time physician to join their long-established and highly respected Infectious Disease & Wound team! Join 2 Physicians, 2 Nurse Practitioners, and full office support staff in providing a mix of inpatient and outpatient care. Work in a collegial environment offering Classical ID, HIV, Hepatitis, Wound Care, Travel Medicine, Home IV Therapy, and Diabetic Foot Care. Qualified candidates must be board certified/eligible. McLaren Northern Michigan is also pleased to announce that it is ranked in the top 10 of 164 hospitals in Michigan according to U.S. News & World Report.

Additional Highlights Include:

  • The outpatient office is conveniently connected to the hospital and has 2 hyperbaric chambers and 9 exam rooms.
  • Round and consult for a 202-bed regional referral hospital - average daily inpatient census is 15-20. An average schedule of 12-16 outpatients in a full office day.
  • A wound-certified Nurse Practitioner delivers significant coverage in the outpatient setting, while the team’s second Nurse Practitioner is integral to inpatient rounding.
  • The practice offers a Travel Clinic to provide counseling and recommendations for individuals traveling outside the country.
