We are seeking an active, engaged, highly motivated clinicians to care for those who have given so much. Be part of a fantastic outpatient VA medical clinic operating under the Patient Aligned Care Team "PACT" approach to healthcare. As the primary Leader of your team, you will work with a RN care manager, LPN, clinical PharmD., social worker, telemetry health technician and administrative support. We are a data driven organization utilizing a superb electronic medical record.
This Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) is located in the mountains of Western Maryland near the borders of West Virginia, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. It is within a several hour drive to the greater Washington DC, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh areas. The area features beautiful lakes, hiking and biking trails, and many local cultural events.
The current clinic houses 3 primary care teams, a home-based primary care team, mental health services both in person and via tele-medicine, a physical therapy area, women's health services, and extensive telemedicine patient education classes and subspecialty care services. The clinic operates Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM hours. No inpatient hospital responsibilities are required. Local community Medical Center provides emergency radiology and laboratory services.

Paid Time Off:
26 Days paid annual (vacation/personal) leave – you can carry over up to 86 days into a new year

Federal Retirement Plan:
VA employees are covered by the Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS). FERS is a three-tiered retirement plan composed of 1) Social Security benefits; 2) FERS basic benefits (pension); and 3) Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) which is a 401K-type plan
The Federal Government also provides an automatic basic contribution (1% of salary) and up to 4% of salary in matching contributions, depending on the amount of the employee contribution
For retired military personnel, these benefits are in addition to full monthly retirement pay or pension
